The Bible, whether or not you accept its validity as a religious book, can be the source of several bingos that are perfectly acceptable in the game. I noticed this one while reading a passage from the book of Luke .
denarii: The plural of denarius, a coin used in the ancient Roman empire. According to my Bible, a denarius was the equivalent of a day's wages, so more than one would be quite a bit of money.
Luke 7:40 Two men owed money to a certain moneylender. One owed him five hundred denarii, and the other fifty.
